Due to the controversy and outrage online, details of the official's salary began to circulate. According to the official transparency portal of the Federal Public Administration, Florencia Franco has a gross monthly salary of 150,822 pesos, which after tax deductions amounts to 104,821 pesos. This is significantly higher than the average salary in Mexico. A few days ago, President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed that the incident did indeed occur and that Florencia Franco was sanctioned, although she did not specify the nature of the punishment. Meanwhile, head of the 'Infodemia' unit, Miguel Elozar, brought up the controversial image of a woman sunbathing on a balcony of the National Palace once again. He stated that an error was made in their initial analysis, but reiterated that the photograph contained elements of artificial intelligence. During Wednesday's morning conference, Elozar recalled that a few days ago, 'Infodemia' had debunked the photo, analyzing it with the tools 'Trote Scan' and 'Undetectable AI'. These programs indicated that AI was used in the image, but only to scale it up. 'We recognize the error we made in classifying this material as false,' he explained. Consequently, the Sheinbaum government official apologized to the public and all users who disseminated the official information, which was later labeled as false.
